Meet Monica

With over 20 years of experience in corporate accounting, finance, and business operations — primarily within the health insurance industry — I’ve seen firsthand how powerful financial clarity can be. After working in management, accounting, and systems analysis roles across both large corporations and startups, I founded Myriad Bookkeeping to bring structured financial leadership, confidence, and strategic guidance to senior living and senior care business owners.

My focus on senior living and senior care grew from a deeply personal place. Caring for my father during his healthcare journey gave me insight into the operational and regulatory complexities these businesses navigate every day — from financial management and compliance to coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams. I recognized that my background in financial systems, corporate finance, and healthcare environments uniquely positioned me to support care-based business owners in building stronger financial foundations and sustainable growth strategies.

My professional experience spans corporate accounting, financial systems analysis, and business operations across industries including healthcare insurance, banking, retail, transportation, and manufacturing. Combined with my education — a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Corporate Finance — I bring a strategic, systems-driven, and high-touch approach to every client partnership.
